Every Lexus towing receiver hitch^{1,2, 3} is made in the United States and thoroughly tested, both in the lab and on the road, to meet Lexus’s stringent requirements. Each receives an environmental “e-coat” for corrosion protection and a UV-resistant powder topcoat. The hitch is designed to mount behind the rear bumper so only the receiver tube is viewed, ensuring that ground clearance is not reduced. The hitch also works in conjunction with the aerodynamic underbody covers, which help reduce noise and improve fuel economy.
